Irving Public Library’s year-long reading challenge for adults is back for its exciting second season!
This year, forty-five prompts will take readers on a journey through fiction and non-fiction, via print, digital and audio. Each prompt has a corresponding mission in READSquared and logging each title will unlock a special Fully Booked digital badge!
The challenge will happen in three rounds and participants have a chance to receive multiple prizes throughout the year! Finishing each round requires reading fifteen books, or finishing the challenge requires reading forty-five books in total and logging them in READSquared.
To participate, visit IrvingLibrary.READSquared.com and register for Fully Booked 2024.
The first round takes place January 1 - April 30, with prize pick up beginning April 1.
The second round takes place May 1 - August 31, with prize pick up for completing fifteen books beginning August 1.
The third and final round will take place September 1 - December31, with prize pick up beginning December 1.
Read all forty-five books by the end of December to complete the challenge and earn the final digital badge as well as an entry for the grand prize.
Participants do not need to complete each round to complete the challenge. For example, if a participant reads only 10 books in the first round, 25 in the second, and 10 in the third, they still complete the challenge.
Paper logs are also available at any library location or by downloading here.
