Campion Trail, Park Closures Due to Flooding

Campion Trail and various city parks currently is closed due to flooding, especially along the Elm and West forks of the Trinity River. City of Irving staff continue to monitor parks and trails to ensure the safety of all users. Park closures include:

  • Bird's Fort Park
  • Lively Skate Park
  • Mountain Creek Preserve
  • Sam Houston Park
  • Trinity View Park
  • T.W. Richardson Park
  • Running Bear Park

City staff may close any park or trail without notice to protect the community. Residents are advised to stay clear of closed and barricaded areas in parks.
