Book Character PartyNov. 10, 2:30 p.m., West Irving Library, 4444 W. Rochelle RoadThis party features a special show by Mother Goose, visits from book characters (including classic favorites such as the Cat in the Hat and Winnie the Pooh) plus games, crafts, treats, and other more. All children 10 years old and younger will receive a free paperback picture book while supplies last.
Wednesday Night Live Picture Book CelebrationNov. 14, 7 p.m., Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron TrailThis month's family night includes Mo Willem’s classic picture book Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus as read by lively storyteller Rochelle Rabouin.
