Valley Ranch Library visitors may not all know this, but there is a Pokemon Go gym at their favorite library location. Every day, a variety of digital pocket monsters thrive alongside the physical materials – books, movies and music – just waiting for a trainer on their Pokemon Go app to discover them.
Pokémon is still plenty of fun for those who aren’t playing the game online, or over their data plans. At 2 p.m. April 19, celebrate Team Mystic, Valor and Instinct in the perfect low-tech event for kids in grades 1-6 at the Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail. Participate in a pokérific scavenger hunt to catch ‘em all; create your very own Styrofoam pokéball; and hatch a special poké-egg – who knows what Pokémon will be found! Supplies are limited. No tickets or advanced registration required. Call (972) 721-4612 for more information.
