Teen Summer Field Trip Series Offers a Summer of Memories

Youth and teens can enjoy area attractions by registering for one of the weekly field trips hosted by Lively Pointe Youth Center. With a variety of trip options, teens can learn about the history of video gaming, cheer on the Texas Rangers or discover the unique sport of whirlyball.

Teen Summer field trips are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning June 4. The field trip series is open to youth, ages 12-17 and transportation is provided. Space is limited; registration begins May 28. Trip fee is $10 each.

Middle School Field Trip Series Schedule | Ages 12-14

  • June 4 | Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington
  • June 11 | iT’Z Pizza, Euless
  • June 18 | Texas Rangers vs. Cleveland Indians, Arlington
  • June 25 | Mansfield Paintball Adventure Park, Mansfield* (bring sack lunch)
  • July 2 | Studio Movie Grill, Dallas
  • July 9 | WhirlyBall, Hurst
  • July 16 | National Video Game Museum, Frisco

*Trip requires a parental waiver to be completed prior to departure.

High School Field Trip Series Schedule | Ages 15-17

  • June 4 | Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington
  • June 13 | Studio Movie Grill, Dallas
  • June 20 | Hurricane Harbor, Arlington
  • June 25 | Mansfield Paintball Adventure Park, Mansfield*
  • July 11 | SpeedZone, Dallas
  • July 18 | Escape Room, Grapevine

*Trip requires a parental waiver to be completed prior to departure.

Field Trip Information

  • Payment for field trips must be made at the time of registration; space is limited. Payment is for admission only. Except where indicated, teens should bring additional money for food, games, souvenirs, etc.
  • Participants should arrive at Lively Pointe Youth Center at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
  • For outdoor trips, sunscreen is suggested.
  • Participants who become ill will be unable to remain on the field trip. A parent/guardian will be called to pick them up.
  • Staff is not responsible for lost or stolen items during field trip.
  • Staff does not condone disrespectful or illegal behavior. Parents will be notified of any behavior problems during field trips. In serious cases, parents may be required to pick them up from the field trip location and also may be denied from attending future field trips.
