Put away those study materials and dive into the books you love with our 2019 Summer Reading Challenge: A Universe of Stories. Get lost in pages, plots and characters that will pull you into worlds unseen, down roads untraveled and into skies full of stars. And what perfect timing, considering that the love/hate series finale of GOT may/may not have left you with the summer blues. At your local library, the shelves are filled with many more stories that are waiting to be told, any of which are sure to reward you. Teens in grades 6-12 who read five hours a week can earn a prize. They are even eligible to enter a drawing for an iPad Mini!
In addition to reading, teens are encouraged to attend our free Summer Reading Challenge programs. Any of which, you will receive a credit for one hour of reading. Here’s what’s going on in June:
