FluShot

Flu season is here and the Irving Fire Department asks everyone to STAY INFORMED, GET VACCINATED AND STOP THE SPREAD. Flu is unpredictable and can happen at any time, so get ahead of the flu by getting a flu shot.

Please remember these simple tips to help prevent and stop the spread of flu:

  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Clean common surfaces like doorknobs, handles and keyboards.
  • Have a plan to care for sick family members at home.
