Parkland Health & Hospital System, Dallas County’s public health system, is partnering with Dallas County Health and Human Services and the City of Dallas to open a walk-up COVID-19 testing location at Parkland’s Irving Health Center, 1800 N. Britain Road. The testing site will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, or until testing limits reach capacity. Testing results are returning within 48 to 72 hours.

Testing is open to anyone who is over the age of 5 and lives within the boundaries of the City of Dallas or Dallas County. However, first responders, DART drivers, healthcare workers, and all CISA essential workers are exempt from the residency requirement; they must provide a work ID that shows employment in Dallas County/City of Dallas.

For individuals who work in the City of Dallas or Dallas County but live outside those jurisdictions and do not work in an exempted category, testing is available at Dallas College Mountain View Campus, 4849 W. Illinois Ave., Dallas, 75211.

The last day for walk-up COVID-19 testing site at Parkland’s Southeast Dallas Health Center, 9202 Elam Road, Dallas 75217, will be Thursday, Nov. 12.
