Auditions Open for Irving's Got Talent

A teen girl plays an acoustic guitar.

Can you sing, dance, juggle or play an instrument? Do you have a group of friends that would like to perform together? We’re looking for Irving’s most talented teens to audition for Irving’s Got Talent, the city’s annual teen talent competition.

Students interested in auditioning for this year’s competition must submit an online application that includes a link to a performance video posted via YouTube by Feb. 5. Audition videos will be reviewed by the Irving Youth Action Council and IGT panel. The final performance will take place on Feb. 19 at the Irving Arts Center (3333 N. MacArthur Blvd.).

Video requirements:

  • Publicly Viewable
  • No Longer Than 8 Minutes
  • Clear Audio and Video
  • Must Have the Name(s) of the Performer(s) and the Title of the Act in the Description

Who can participate?

Auditions are open to students in middle and high school, as well as homeschooled teens, ages 12 and older. All types of talent can audition for the show. Past performances have included singers, musicians, rock bands, dance groups, spoken word and magicians. A panel of judges will determine which acts are chosen to participate in the competition and performance, which will take place at the Irving Arts Center on Friday, Feb. 19. Not all applicants will be selected to perform at Irving’s Got Talent
