Cactus Country: A Celebration of the American Southwest (Jan 01 - Feb 28)
To celebrate all things Southwestern, be a part of the 4th Annual Adult Winter Reading Challenge, Cactus Country. Need reading inspiration? Scan reading lists on ReadSquared to be inspired by Prickly Poetry, Southwest Mysteries, Tumbleweed Tales, and more.
Library patrons and visitors need only to read 5 books of their choice from January 1 to February 28. Reading can be logged online on ReadSquared or by picking up a reading log from the South, Valley Ranch, or West library locations. Log your titles to win a free book, and your choice of a 2021 monthly planner or a succulent plant!
The Adult Winter Reading Challenge won’t be the only fun activity you can participate in at the library as the new year begins. Join virtual programs that pair well with the Southwestern theme. Take part in the poetry contest, learn to garden with less water, make your own succulent terrarium, and more.
