Mark the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tut's tomb by visiting the South Irving Library from Feb. 12 to 28 to view 50 replicas of the Boy King's artifacts. Reproductions include the royal gold mask, alabaster vases, statues and furniture. The exhibit is free and open to all ages, and is made possible by the Museum of Modern Art and the Cairo Museum.
Continue the adventure into ancient history at 1 p.m. on Feb. 19 as South Irving Library hosts retired University of Texas at Arlington Egyptology instructor Rollin Phipps for a discussion and a tour.
