Feb. 8 Meeting Highlights

Project is 6.85% complete.

  • Contractor has completed installation of the wastewater main, up to the west side of O’Connor Road. 
  • An additional 50 linear feet (LF) of the water main has been installed.
  • Installation of the storm drainage system began mid-January, and the contractor has installed 100 LF approximately 20 feet deep.

What is happening this month?

  • Contractor will complete the installation of the water main and storm drainage system up to the west side of N. O’Connor Road.

Traffic Pattern Changes 

Beginning Monday, Feb. 21, the intersection at O’Connor Road and Irving Blvd will be closed to install underground utilities to the east, crossing O’Connor Road. This closure is estimated to last through April 25, weather permitting.

Traffic will now detour at Main Street. One lane of Irving Boulevard will remain open for traffic to access businesses between Main Street and O’Connor. Read more...

NEXT STAKEHOLDER MEETING: March 8

Project staff host monthly stakeholder meetings the second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. at the Jack D. Huffman Building, 801 W. Irving Blvd., to share project updates. 

March 8 is the next scheduled meeting. Details will be available soon.
