Flooding Closes Parks, Trails Along Elm, West Forks of Trinity River

Joggers and cyclists enjoy Campion Trail in Sam Houston Park after it reopened in early March.

Parks and sections of Campion Trail along the Elm and West Forks of the Trinity River are closed due to flooding. City of Irving staff continue to monitor parks and trails to ensure the safety of all users.

Delaware Creek Trail Construction Begins

Work on the new Delaware Creek Trail has begun. The work will create a 1.62 mile trail, from Senter Park East running south through Fritz Park and into Mountain Creek Preserve. Delaware Creek Trail will connect with Campion Trails.
