2.
If Building Standards is involved, do I have to demolish my house?
No, you have the option to repair or demolish. You may also sell it if you choose to.
3.
If I demolish my house, do I have to demolish all of the accessory structures as well?
Yes, unless you are planning a new house right away. You need to obtain a building permit as soon as possible for the new house. If you don't rebuild a house (primary structure) on the lot you will have a zoning violation. You must have a primary structure on the lot in order to have a secondary structure.
