1. Can we have a bounce house or bring extra tables, chairs, etc.?

Basic bounce houses are OK as long as the bounce house company provides insurance as specified below and a generator for the power source. However, obstacle course, slides and water feature inflatables are not permitted.



Insurance Requirements

The following must be included on the insurance certificate:

• Certificate holder listed as City of Irving, Parks and Recreation, 825 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX 75060.


• The insurance must list the organization's name, the date of the event and the location.


• Insurance must have insurance limits of not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit (CSL). 


• The insurance certificate must list the City of Irving as an additional insured with a notice of cancellation clause. 

2. Can I go in early to decorate/set up? Or can I stay late to clean up?

Pavilions and gazebos are first-come, first-served, when there are no confirmed reservations. If you arrive without a reservation and no one is there, you may use the space.


If someone is in your reserved space, kindly let them know what time your reservation begins, so they will have time to clean up and move out. Please note: The set-up of rental equipment is prohibited without a confirmed reservation.

3. Can we use the facility to have a fundraiser or promote our product?

The facility cannot be used by any group or individual for profit-making purposes, which includes fundraising.

4. I want music at my party. Can I have a DJ or bring in a stereo?

No amplified music is permitted. This includes but is not limited to live bands, DJs, stereos, detachable speakers, etc. A small CD player/radio is permitted; however, the volume must be kept to a minimum and music must not be played in or at the facility after 10 p.m.
