2023 Sparks & Stripes Fourth of July Parade Entry Application

  1. Parade Application Instructions
    • Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, June 19. 
    • Participants are required to attend the mandatory Parade Meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at City Hall (825 W. Irving Blvd.) in the Council Chambers. Packets can be picked up beginning at 5 p.m.
    • Entries should be decorated with a patriotic theme in mind.

    Check one that best describes your entry. NO HORSES ALLOWED.

  5. Give details about your parade entry (i.e., Jeep Club with 7 vehicles, float entry with 20 foot trailer and truck puller).

  6. Please include number of trailers, automobiles, trucks, etc. in this total count. Write "0" if not applicable.

  8. Total length in feet needed for staging area, include entry and rig length of pulling your entry. The length you enter on this registration form is the total length you will have upon arrival in the staging area. If you arrive with additional vehicles not listed, it could result in your entry not being in the correct line up order. Please make sure you coordinate the submitted length request with your entry driver.

    • All parade entries that include a driver in the parade must provide proof of a valid driver's license.  Please list the driver's name here.
    • If you are filling out the application and will NOT be the driver during the parade, please make sure to bring the driver's information to the mandatory parade meeting.  
    • If your group has multiple drivers, EACH driver must provide a valid driver's license in order to participate.
    • Have more than 5 drivers? Sumit additional names and driver's licenses at the mandatory parade meeting.

  17. Candy During the Parade*

    Throwing of candy will NOT be permitted in the residential areas of this year's parade route. In an attempt to be good neighbors, please ensure your group only distributes candy in the marked areas of the parade route.
