  3. Homeschooler Happening Virtual Meeting

    September 23, 2020, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Virtual via Zoom

    Irving Arts Center’s quarterly home school program will resume and meet virtually on Zoom. The session will include an art lesson and virtual tour of Soñadora, a new exhibition on display in the Main Gallery which features the works of artist, author and illustrator Yuyi Morales. Two sessions will be offered with space limited to 15 families. A $5 registration fee will cover supply kits (enough for a one child), available for pick up from the Irving Arts Center prior to the sessions.

  4. ONLINE: Book Lovers Happy Hour Book Club discusses Parallel Lives

    This book club meets every two months and discusses a different theme each time. A current trend in novels is to tell two related life stories linked by a common character, event or theme, and the characters are often members of the same family, separated by a generation or so.
