Clear the Shelters

Irving residents should mark their calendars and clear their schedules for Aug. 29 - Clear the Shelters day. Irving Animal Services will team with NBC5, Telemundo 39 and NBCUniversal, along with shelters across North Texas and the rest of the country, for a national adoption event that helped more than 143,830 animals from 1,900 shelters find homes in 2019.

Organizers hope residents will join the effort to make the 2020 event event bigger and better.
