Thanksgiving Holiday - No Trash Pickup / City Offices Closed

In observance of Thanksgiving, there will be no residential trash, curbside recycling or brush collection Nov. 25-26. In addition, the following facilities will be closed:
- City Hall
- Heritage Aquatic Center
- Hunter Ferrell Landfill
- Irving Animal Care Campus
- Irving Arts Center
- Irving museums
- Irving public libraries
- Irving recreation centers
- North Lake Natatorium
Unless listed otherwise, city offices and services will resume normal business hours on Monday, Nov. 29.
- Heritage Aquatic Center and North Lake Natatorium will close 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 24 and reopen Monday, Nov. 29 for normal business hours.
- Irving Public Library branches will close 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 24 and reopen Saturday, Nov. 27 for normal business hours.
- The Ruth Paine House Museum will be available by appointment only on Saturday, Nov. 27. The museum opens for regular business hours on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
- The Irving Arts Center is closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and will operate on the following schedule the rest of the weekend:
- Friday, Nov. 26: Galleries and box office open for normal business hours, noon to 5 p.m. Administrative offices remain closed.
- Saturday, Nov. 27 : Galleries open noon to 5 p.m. Ticketed performance of "The Nutcracker" by Momentum Dance Company at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 28: Open only for Sunday matinee ticketed performance of "The Nutcracker" by Momentum Dance Company at 2 p.m.
