Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance

Join the City of Irving as we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year's celebration will feature dance, song, poetry, and art performed by the Dallas Black Dance Theatre and Musically Me Unlimited presented by Kamica King.

The City of Irving is hosting a student essay contest in conjunction with the city’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. observance Jan. 15. Essays can be submitted beginning Dec. 19. Deadline for entry is Jan. 9. Visit Irvingevents.org for more information.
