  1. New Year's Day - No Trash Pickup / City Offices Closed

    January 1, 2019, All Day @ Various city facilities

    There will be no residential trash, curbside recycling or brush collection Jan. 1. In addition the following facilities will be closed:

    • City Hall
    • Irving Animal Care Campus
    • The Hunter Ferrell Landfill
    • Libraries and recreation centers
    • The Heritage Senior Center and Heritage Aquatic Center
    • The North Lake Natatorium
    • The Irving Arts Center

    The North Lake Natatorium will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 6. All offices and services will resume normal business hours Jan. 2.

    January 1, 2019, All Day @ East Branch Library, 440 S. Nursery Road. South Irving Library, 601 Schulze Drive. Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail. West Irving Library, 4444 W. Rochelle Road.

    All Irving Public Library locations will be closed Jan. 1. Libraries will resume operating hours on Jan. 2.
