  1. Free Adoptions for Pets 1 Year and Older

    November 16, 2019, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Adoption Kennels

    All adoptable animals 1 year and older at the Irving Animal Care Campus (IACC) will have their adoption fee waived.

    Animals being adopted will be:

    • Up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if the animal is more than four months of age
    • Spayed or neutered
    • Given a general dewormer and treated for fleas and ticks
    • Microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch
    • Heartworm tested (dogs over 6 months of age)
    • FeLV / FIV tested (cats over 6 months of age)
    • Given 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance (with a valid email address)
    • Given a sample bag of Science Diet food

    Enjoy a day of relaxation while painting various pieces of pottery. Children ages 12 and younger must be accompanied by a parent. The pottery is not glazed or fired so the pieces can be taken home the same day.
