  2. “Have Yourself a Broadway Little Christmas”

    Presented by MainStage. “Have Yourself a Broadway Little Christmas” brings together favorite holiday songs made famous through Broadway shows and movie musicals. Guests will be swept away by hits from Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” “Mame,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Songs for a New World,” “Holiday Inn,” Broadway’s “Elf” and many more. The evening will conclude with a holiday sing-along and auction.

  1. Play & Learn Storytime @ Valley Ranch Library (tickets required)

    December 13, 2019, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Valley Ranch Library Lobby

    For ages 6 months to 4 years old. Preschoolers enjoy learning while they play, create, and explore together. Activities include toys, games, arts and crafts, simple science experiments, coding, music, stories, and more. Play & Learn is sponsored by the YMCA.

    Tickets are required to attend this program. Please visit the library's information desk 30 minutes prior to the program to pick up a free ticket.

    Valley Ranch Library offers three Play & Learn storytime sessions per week, excluding holidays: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

  1. Centennial Park Lights

    December 7, 2019 - December 25, 2019 @ Centennial Park

    Irving’s Centennial Park is lit up for the holidays. The free light display affords a leisurely stroll through one of the jewels of Irving’s Heritage District, Centennial Park.

    The park is decorated with 60,000 lights on the fences, trees and bridge, and walkways are lighted on each side to keep pathways visible for visitors after dark. This holiday tradition is staffed 24/7. On-duty employees wear uniforms day and night, clearly identifying them as city staff, and visitors can ask any questions they have about the decorations.

    Portable restrooms are available. No bike riding through the display.
