  2. Saturday School: Adventures in Mixed Media

    Students ages 6-10 will meet each Saturday for six consecutive weeks to explore a variety of techniques and styles in a range of media including drawing, painting and printmaking. Inspired by current exhibitions, projects will include a honeycomb-patterned wall hanging, embellished prints honoring African-American inventors, authors and artists; and wacky, fish-eye lens self-portraits painted to reproduce distorted reflections in a concave surface.

Novices will have the chance to learn from more experienced cooks, and the experienced cooks will have a chance to show off and share their amazing skills.
