  2. Saturday School: Adventures in Mixed Media

    February 23, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Suite 200

    Students ages 6-10 will meet each Saturday for six consecutive weeks to explore a variety of techniques and styles in a range of media including drawing, painting and printmaking. Inspired by current exhibitions, projects will include a honeycomb-patterned wall hanging, embellished prints honoring African-American inventors, authors and artists; and wacky, fish-eye lens self-portraits painted to reproduce distorted reflections in a concave surface.

Novices will have the chance to learn from more experienced cooks, and the experienced cooks will have a chance to show off and share their amazing skills. Stop by the Valley Ranch Library Reference Desk to register for the book club and pick your recipe. This program is intended for patrons 18 and older. No children please.
