    Ages 15 and older and able to complete precourse swim test American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification classes prepare participants to handle emergencies, whether on land or in the water, and result in a certificate that may qualify for a job in the community. Limited scholarships available.

    First up is the Creature Teacher, with “magical creatures” and also a craft for attendees to make their own creation.

    At each library location, students of the wonderful world of Harry Potter can travel and learn magical skills at our Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry campus. Dress up as your favorite character or in your house robes and play games, make crafts, and more. Open to all ages.

    Each location hosts a different class at Hogwarts. Please refer to the class schedule:

    STEM out by making levitation, movement, and invisibility charms. At 7:30 p.m., adults and teens can make their own wands and play Wizard's Chess (registration required).
