  1. Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course

    April 11, 2019 - April 13, 2019 @ North Lake Natatorium

    Ages 15 and older and able to complete precourse swim test American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification classes prepare participants to handle emergencies, whether on land or in the water, and result in a certificate that may qualify for a job in the community.   1. Improved English for Work: Adult ESL Classes

    All language skill levels are welcome to attend these free classes on Mondays and Fridays during April and May, excluding Memorial Day on Monday, May 27. Classes are held in the library's program room.

    This spring, ages 2-6 are invited to a special storytime series presented by Yogees Yoga 4 Kids. Limited space is available at each session.

    At South Irving Library, the storytimes are at 10:30 a.m. on select Fridays, and at Valley Ranch Library at 12:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays. Limited space is available at each location for each session, and tickets are required. At South Irving Library, tickets will be available at 10 a.m. on each program date.
