  1. Improved English for Work: Adult ESL Classes

    April 5, 2019, 12:15 PM - 3:15 PM @ Valley Ranch Library Lobby

    All language skill levels are welcome to attend these free classes on Mondays and Fridays during April and May, excluding Memorial Day on Monday, May 27. Classes are held in the library's program room.

    This series is facilitated by the Irving Independent School District Adult Education Department and Workforce Solutions.

    Throughout National Poetry Month in April, allow your creativity to flourish by writing your own verses on a "leaf." Next, place the leaf on the Poet Tree, which is "planted" in the interior glassed-in area of the library. All ages.

    Celebrating Irving’s rich history and diversity is a tradition for the Irving Heritage Society. Join us to play some favorite games, learn a new game, or learn a new twist on some old games. We have a few surprises up our sleeves, so bring your family and friends to enjoy an evening out together. Open to all ages; youth ages 11 and younger should be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Free admission.
