“Scarred 4 Life” is a musical stage play that speaks to the issue of domestic violence and how family and friends come together to help heal a family. The play was written and produced by David Moore, a disabled veteran of the USAF fighting multiple sclerosis. On April 9 an intimate VIP performance with a reception (food and beverage catered by El Primos Mexican Restaurant) will be offered in the Dupree Theater.

Irving Public Library partners with Irving Heritage Senior Center to kick off this year's NEA Big Read Irving and the selected title "Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?" by New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast.At 6:30 p.m., join us at Irving's exclusive senior center for a dance lesson, then at 7 p.m., show off your new footwork while accompanied by live DJ music. At 7:45 p.m., enjoy an ice cream social and have your caricature portrait made.
