    The Midweek Mysteries Book Club meets monthly for a lively discussion of the best that the mystery genre has to offer, from contemporary works to the grand masters.

    Join us this month for a discussion of Irving's selected NEA Big Read 2019 title, the memoir Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant? by Roz Chast, as well as a discussion of mysteries featuring senior sleuths. Adults.

  3. Friends of the Irving Public Library Members-Only Book Sale

    The Friends warehouse is filled with thousands of gently-used donations and seldom-used items from the library's collection. These "members-only" sales are held on the first Wednesdays of every month, except for January, June, and July. Membership to the Friends may be purchased on-site at the warehouse during these sales.

    This spring, ages 2-6 are invited to a special storytime series presented by Yogees Yoga 4 Kids.

    At Valley Ranch Library, the storytimes are at 12:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays and at South Irving Library at 10:30 a.m. on select Fridays. Limited space is available at each location for each session, and tickets are required.
