  1. NEA Big Read Irving 2019: Story Walk in the Park

    May 11, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Centennial Park

    This come-and-go activity for adults features a walk through the park showcasing select panels of this year's Big Read title Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant? by Roz Chast. Guided tours are offered at 1 p.m. and at 3:15 p.m. Participants are also welcome to browse and read at leisure.

    This program is hosted in conjunction with the expert panel which begins at 2 p.m. at South Irving Library, 601 Schulze Drive.

    Join us as the panel discusses aging, caregiving, palliative care, and coping with loss and grief, themes found in this year's Irving Big Read title, Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant? by Roz Chast. The panel moderator is ICTN's Cathy Whiteman.
