Animal Services

  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2019 - June 30, 2019 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

Charlie Watson discovers and repairs an old Volkswagen Beetle as a way to remember her father and stake her independence from a stepfather she abhors, with only the music of The Smiths and the unrequited crush of the boy-next-door for friends. When she discovers the VW Bug is actually an alien robot on a reconnaissance mission for the rest of his race, the two form a bond which eventually has her putting her life on the line against evil alien robots, high school bullies, and the government.

    This new camp is designed to introduce young athletes (ages 7-12) to a variety of different sports in one setting. Instructors combine three to five sports into one fun-filled day. Participants will learn the rules of each game through skill-based games and scrimmages, improve their knowledge of multiple sports, and take away vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline.
