  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2019 - June 30, 2019 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

    Every Second Sunday, guided craft projects, fun for the entire family, are offered. This month, design some seriously astounding structures and celebrate the birthday of the great American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Drop in anytime between 1 and 4 p.m. Guided tours of the exhibits are offered at 2:30 p.m.

    The biggest book sale of the year is here! Shop for gently used books, music, DVDs, magazines and audiobooks at the Friends of the Irving Public Library 2019 Summer Book Sale. The sale is open to the general public at the following dates and times: Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Irving Public Library system.
