  2. We Will Rock You, Multi-Arts Camp No. 5

    July 8, 2019 - July 12, 2019 @ Irving Arts Center

    Ages 6-12

    This multi-arts camp really rocks. Action painting, groovy guitar sculptures, and rock and roll printmaking are among the topics covered. Campers will compose their own rock grooves via percussion instruments and explore dance moves from the era of rock and roll.

  1. Junior Coding

    July 12, 2019, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ Valley Ranch Library Meeting Room

    Learn Block and Scratch computer coding. Create games like Minecraft and share what you learn with friends. Laptops are provided. Grades 2-6. Limited to 18 participants, and tickets are required. Parents must stay in the library at all times during this program.

    Hosted by Irving Solid Waste Services.

    Two-box limit for document shredding. This event is for Irving residents only, and proof of residency is required. Materials from businesses will not be accepted. Please note, the City of Irving no longer accepts CRT monitors or televisions.

    The event is schedule from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., or until the truck reaches capacity.
