  1. Adult ESL Classes: Beginning/Intermediate Levels

    (Registration is required.) Learn English vocabulary, writing, and conversation. Facilitated by the Irving Independent School District Adult Education Department and Workforce Solutions. Sessions for beginning and intermediate levels are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 5 p.m. Classes are held January 13 through April 15, with no classes held the week of March 16.   3. Play & Learn Storytime: Infants and Toddlers @ Valley Ranch Library (tickets required)

    On Thursdays: For ages 6 months to 2 years old. Children enjoy learning while they play, create, and explore together. Activities include toys, games, arts and crafts, simple science experiments, coding, music, stories, and more. Play & Learn is sponsored by the YMCA.

    Tickets are required to attend this program. Please visit the library's information desk 30 minutes prior to the program to pick up a free ticket.

    Valley Ranch Library offers four Play & Learn storytime sessions per week, excluding holidays:

    Preschoolers, ages 3 to 4 years old: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
    Infants and toddlers, ages 6 months to 2 years old: Thursdays at 11:30 a.m.
    Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ages 6 months to 4 years old: Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
