    Designed especially for developers, builders and contractors, participants will explore the issues tied to development costs and the systems that can be improved in Irving to increase housing production. Learn what can be done to lower development costs without impacting quality.

    February 20, 2020 - February 22, 2020 @ Dupree Theater

    Dallas Baptist University College of Fine Arts presents the comedic operetta, “The Mikado.” First performed at London’s Savoy Theatre in 1885, “The Mikado” pokes fun at topical aspects of Victorian society and follows Nanki-Poo, the son of the Mikado (the Japanese emperor), who has fled his father’s court in disguise as a “Wand’ring Minstrel” to avoid marrying Katisha, an elderly suitor. Instead, he hopes to find and marry his own beloved, the maiden Yum-Yum.

  1. Adult Winter Reading Challenge-Sherlocked: Mystery Theater

    February 21, 2020, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Auditorium

    Put on a sleuthing hat and join the murder mystery, complete with refreshments and mocktails. This event is free, and space is limited to the first 99 people to arrive. Ages 16 and older. No children, please. Presented as an Adult Winter Reading Challenge and Irving Community Read program. The evening's venue is the auditorium of the Jack D. Huffman Community Building, 801 W. Irving Blvd.
