For ages birth to 18 months old. This lapsit storytime offers gentle activities including songs and fingerplays that build early literacy skills.

Children and their caregivers enjoy stories, songs, and movement. On the third Wednesday of the month, this storytime is bilingual. The storytime is held in the first-floor program room.

For ages 1 to 3 years old. This interactive program includes stories, songs, and fingerplays. Tickets are required to attend this program. Please visit the library's information desk 30 minutes prior to the program to pick up a free ticket.

The Young Adult Action Council (YAAC) is open to teens in grades 9-12 who attend Irving area schools. Members assist in planning the South Irving Library's teen programming, selecting teen materials, assisting in the Teen Zone area, and more. Members may be eligible to receive volunteer hours for their service.
