    Get creative every Saturday with Irving Public Library!

    These programs on Facebook alternate, with crafts one week, and coloring the next week.

    On one Saturday, make fun, quick and easy crafts from the comfort of home --- a perfect activity for kids and adults to do together. The next Saturday, learn to draw simple illustrations and then color them. Pre-drawn sheets are available to download and print at home, too.

    Discover ways to bring children back to nature with simple tips for butterfly gardening, edible landscapes and sensory gardening. Presenters also will cover practical ways to reduce (or avoid) chemical use and toxic plants to steer clear of, for both kid- and pet-proof plantings. Shrink your lawn and its maintenance bills while your household explores, learns and grows together.
