Get creative with Irving Public Library!

These programs on Facebook alternate each Saturday, with crafts one week, and coloring the next week.

On one Saturday, make fun, quick and easy crafts from the comfort of home --- a perfect activity for kids and adults to do together. The next Saturday, learn to draw simple illustrations and then color them. Pre-drawn sheets are available to download and print at home, too.

UPDATE: This workshop is being rescheduled for a later date TBD.

Discover why gardeners love vermicomposting. Vermicomposting is the decomposition process using various species of worms that take decomposing vegetable or food waste and create bedding materials and nutrient-rich vermicast.

This workshop will answer common questions:

    • What is the best place to set up worm bins?
    • What are the best setup and care methods for worm bins?
    • How can worm castings be used as a cheap and easy garden amendment to improve your chances for organic garden and landscaping success?
