Looking for the coolest summer companion? The Irving Animal Care Campus (IACC), 4140 Valley View Lane, is offering free adoptions for cats 1 year or older during the month of July. Kittens adoption fees are $50.
Adoptable cats will be:
Up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if the animal is more than four months old.
Spayed or neutered.
Given a general dewormer and treated for fleas and ticks.
Microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.
Tested for FeLV and FIV if the cat is at least six months old.
Given 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance, with a valid email address.
Given a sample bag of Science Diet food.

Junior campers, ages 4-5, will go on a virtual time travel safari adventure as they learn about the animals that have walked the earth through various time periods and use their imaginations to create their own animal art. Only their imaginations will set the limits for this time-traveling expedition.

Make your own napkin rings in this fun class. You’ll need the cardboard core from a paper towel or TP roll. A roll of ½ inch ribbon, four artificial flowers, a hot glue gun and an X-acto knife. For ages 50 and older.

Learn to make paper flowers that look real. If time permits in this class we will make 2 paper flowers. a Hyacinth and a Lavender: Supplies needed: assorted color of lightweight cardstock 65lb or lights, colors optional. Ruler, scissors, pencil, a dowel rod or something round and a glue stick.
