Looking for the coolest summer companion? The Irving Animal Care Campus (IACC), 4140 Valley View Lane, is offering free adoptions for cats 1 year or older during the month of July. Kittens adoption fees are $50.
Adoptable cats will be:
Up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if the animal is more than four months old.
Spayed or neutered.
Given a general dewormer and treated for fleas and ticks.
Microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.
Tested for FeLV and FIV if the cat is at least six months old.
Given 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance, with a valid email address.
Given a sample bag of Science Diet food.

2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil (or other oil). You may also substitute vegetable broth to make recipe oil free.
1 large carrot peeled and sliced
1/2 (0.5) large red bell pepper sliced
1 medium tomato chopped small
1/2 teaspoon (0.5 teaspoon) salt
1 teaspoon dried basil or parsley
2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 jalapeno or to taste or omit for plain white garlic sauce
3 cloves of garlic

Supplies needed for this class are: strips of papers in different colors: red, green, & black. You can also use various shades of red and green. glue, scissors and a background paper. Youth ages 6-11 are invited to join us online for a game of Simon Says. One player takes the role of Simon and issue instructions to the other players in the game. Players are eliminated from the game by either following instructions, or not following instructions, by the phrase "Simon Says."
