Book Lovers Happy Hour Book Club: I'd Rather Be in Paris

Book Lovers Happy Hour meets every other month at South Irving Library and discusses a different theme each time. This month, discuss the City of Light, which continues to intrigue authors and readers. The group meets at South Irving Library.

MiY Zone Valley Ranch Library: Papel Picado

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, use the laser etcher to create papel picado, an art form made with decoratively-cut paper. The design file, instructions and materials are available in the MiY zone, while supplies last. No registration is required.

Baby Bookworms Storytime @ Valley Ranch Library

Ages birth to pre-walkers. Participate in activities including songs and finger plays to build babies' early literacy skills.

A parent or caregiver should be present, and is encouraged to engage and participate in the storytime.
