Beginning Nov. 1, pick up a kit with supplies to create stickers at home. While supplies last. Adults.

During November, complete a 50,000-word original novel by writing a certain number of words each day. This year, join other dedicated wordsmiths at South Irving Library during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and the Irving Writers Salon. All programs are at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, with the exception of Nov. 23, when the library is closed.

Nov. 2: Kickoff.
Nov. 9 and 16: Irving Writers Salon.
Nov. 30: Wrap-Up Party.

All writers and readers are welcome. Sharing work is not required. Adults.

On Mondays at South Irving Library, a representative from Workforce Solutions assists adults with career assessments, job searches, free job training information and registration on the site WorkinTexas.com. Jobseekers may ask their questions in person or make an individual appointment.

Relax with adult coloring and journaling. Adults.

Valley Ranch Library family storytime sessions require tickets, as space is limited. Tickets are free and are available beginning 30 minutes prior to the session start time.

Note: Storytimes at all library locations will be on break from Dec. 24 to Dec. 30. Valley Ranch storytimes will be on break Feb. 19 to March 11.

Storytime sessions will resume as of Nov. 27.
