Join this early morning aqua aerobics class as the sun comes up over the pool.

Back to the basics but with fun and fitness aquatic training that everyone enjoys.

Join this upbeat evening class to increase your strength, endurance and flexibility.

Benefits include toning major muscle groups and improving aerobic capacity, balance and circulation.

Core strengthening, cardio and range of motion exercises will provide the benefits of a land-based program, but without the pounding and stress on the joints, tendons, and ligaments.

Galleries are open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Free to view; advance reservations are recommended. In-person guided tours are offered the first Saturday of each month at 2:30 p.m. with advance reservation.

On Tuesdays at West Irving Library, a representative from Workforce Solutions assists adults with career assessments, job searches, free job training information and registration on the site WorkinTexas.com. Jobseekers may ask their questions in person or make an individual appointment.

In September, Valley Ranch Library introduces two family storytime sessions on Tuesdays, one at 6:30 p.m. and a second at 7:30 p.m. Space is limited at these sessions and tickets are required. Tickets are free and are available beginning 30 minutes prior to the storytime session.

Valley Ranch Library also offers preschool storytime at 10:30 on Thursdays, and beginning in September, the last Thursday of the month will be a bilingual English-Spanish preschool storytime.

Note: Valley Ranch Library will not offer storytime sessions from Oct. 23 through Nov. 12. Storytimes will resume as of Nov. 13.
